yeah, that's a lame misuse of ask metafilter. Deleted.

I should add that eventually there will be a way to list job openings to other folks on MetaFilter.

Was thinking of calling that one out myself.

Very cool. Would this be under the proposed Metafilter Projects subsite?

Naw, a separate but equal section tentively titled "jobs filter"

Can I take this opportunity to once again make a pitch for different names for the ComingSoonFilters?
Instead of "Metafilter Projects": "Tell MetaFilter"
Instead of "jobs filter": "Hire MetaFilter"
Not sure if the "craigslist-esque classifieds" would be better as a "MetaMarket" or "MetaTrade" or if I'm too unclear on that subject.

Sorry folks. Didn't occur to me that it was inappropriate. I did it that way instead of posting the html in question and asking for a once-over because it took up less space.
I see your point, though.
Apologies.

He posted basically a classified ad stating that he was looking for someone to do web work for him, for free. Wholly inappropriate, and in no way can even be defined as a question. It's ASK metafilter. Hard to understand what people are thinking when they post something like that.

You know, I'd much prefer "MetaJobs" (and make it the red, please, heh) because it's not a filter (anyone can post), but it is somewhat meta.

That's not accurate. I was asking someone to proofread some HTML code (yes, for free), and instead of posting the looooong code, I asked people to email me if they were willing. My question, essentially, was "is this proper html?"
Anyway, I apologized above. I see how it was taken the wrong way, now that it's been pointed out to me. However, I wasn't placing a classified. Sorry it sounded that way. Just needed feedback on some code.
You hopefully now understand what I was thinking.
And by the way, I'm not a 'he.'
