Ok, so (in reply to his AskMeFi question) I advised Tlogmer to post his 'new political meme' to his userpage, which he did -- and now I'm alarmed by it, despite his disclaimer. Is Tlogmer's meme going to cause Matt to get a call from the Secret Service (or the DHS?)
Anastasiav, while I understand your concern, in a way I wish you hadn't given Tlogmer's asinine project the visibility that will be engendered by a MeTa thread.

I think cafepress is in hotter water than I am. I think the shirt is dumb, btw.

In all likelihood, it's in violation of Cafepress' Terms of Service (Section 4.3) and they will pull the store if they ever get wind of it. So I'm fairly certain the responsibility is solely that of its creator.

Yeah, it kind of ended up just being a self-promotional post anyway, with people saying it was dumb and should be deleted, so I did.

I think Drudge's going to link to the CafePress page in 5,4,3,2,1....
(at least it's better than his current "a lot of people say 'fuck' in Kerry's campaign website". not that that's saying much of course)

Is there a prize for the Cafe Press store that involved the least amount of work? Tlogmer has to be in the running.

I wonder if we should start using "tlogmer" as some sort of perjorative.

Hmmph. Well, I thought it was funny. (For the record, I like Nader; it was just an attempt to capture democratic frustration.)

(Anyway, who wouldn't want a thong calling for the assassination of a political figure?)

"If you want 4 more years of oversimplified rhetoric, of corporate graft, of institutionalized antiintellectualism and failed foreign policy, by all means don't assassinate Nader, but the ethical choice is clear."
I hate to talk about George Bush as hes been mentioned about 126,000 times on metafilter since his election, but if you want my opinion he instituted institutionalized antiintellectualism for the 21st century.
