Jess is right. There was no 'keeping the burden' off others in Matt's thinking.

Feast update for Mini McGee's birthday! Here's the menu we ended up serving:
Appetizers:
Apple Meteors (apple pieces wrapped in bacon, SO GOOD)
Lunar Bites (crackers with cheese. One was cheddar and pear, the other was swiss and a bit of hot mustard and roast beef.)
Nebula Mocktails (lemonade + blue curacao syrup, then I added cocktail glitter. I served basically the same thing last year for Micro McGee's birthday which was Iceland themed, only I didn't put in glitter and I DID put in dry ice, so it was like a thermal pool, and we called them blue lagoons then. Still yummy! If you're serving adults and prefer it boozy, add vodka.)
Main Course:
This was a bit of a struggle as I kept getting shot down by my kid whenever I suggested anything, so in the end we did some of his reliable favorites, but with appropriate constellation names:
Pork Tenderloin a la Andromeda (since the Chinese constellation of the pig is in the IAU constellation Andromeda)
Draco's Golden Apples & Orion's Belt Onions (the kids did not get the belt onion joke but I made myself LOL)
Potatoes Planted per the Pleiades (the Pleiades rising tells you when to plant)
Bootes's Salad (Bootes is a farmer)
Dessert:
Milky Way Cake. Mixed chopped milky way bars into my batter, chocolate frosting, and space sprinkles.
Nosh:
Galaxy Popcorn, which is deadass the grossest-looking thing I have ever cooked but the kids LOVED it. They munched on this while we did the escape room.
We all dressed up in a hodgepodge of Victorian-ish accessories (basically, whatever we could acquire cheaply on amazon) and we talked at the dinner table as if we were Victorians (Mini has been reading a book about Darwin so he kept saying things like, "And what do you think of Mr. Darwin's new theories? Have you read them in the Times?").
The escape room in the box was actually really fun! We successfully solved it in the time given, the kids were able to figure out a lot of it without the adults helping. It was very engaging! The kids definitely want to do another one, it was a good stuck-inside-for-quarantine activity. Do recommend! We did one that can be packed back up and repeated, so we passed it on to my brother and SIL for a date night. They also enjoyed.

Thanks for the fab dinner update Eyebrows McGee. And as to the question, "is this podcast too long?" Not too long for me! I always enjoy the whole thing. Y'all can natter along as long as you want to.

(btw, the proper pronunciation of the saint's name is the way cortex was saying it, but I mentally pronounce my username the way jessamyn was saying it)

Regarding sniping domain names based on lookups, I don't think there's really any way to do that if you're using a reputable tool like the whois command line program, but if you're not a nerd hanging out on the linux command line and use a domain lookup website there's a risk they will front-run your lookups (most infamously done by Network Solutions for a stretch in 2008).

Length is fine, it’s a monthly podcast. If you were going to do them more often you might want keep it tighter, but once a month? As long as you two are enjoying yourselves, wefites probably are too.
