I've noticed that I use a pair of tags for my front page posts that no other or only a few other posters use. Doing some digging, I've found a few unique or highly limited tags. Do you know of any more?

The two I use are ClassificationByCompilation and NewGildedAge.
Other tags that are restricted to one user or a handful of users are Folly, MusicalInstrument, FullTVShow, MegaPost, and LinksToTheDamnPaper

Honestly, I wish I could use the tags "homeapplianceuprising" and "whenwaffleironsattack" more often.

I just spent a good 4 minutes wondering what a "busser vice refund" was. Since there was no link I couldn't easily look. Suddenly, while contemplating sharing my diet coke with someone named Jackie (#shareacoke), it hit me. Bussers don't have vices. But bus service refund would work too.

It has been almost 5 years since we last looked into the question of tags used only once. Based on that I'm going to guess there are an enormous number of tags that have only been used by one user, because they've only been used once period.

Perhaps a more interesting list would be tags that have been used the greatest number of times but by only a single user? Or by only some small number of users?

Appropriately, apart from my Black Sabbath live 1970 post, the tags "heavier" and "heaviest" have never been used.

If a tag is only used once, it is probably (although not certainly) a bad tag. Such tags are usually attempts at comedy or conspicuous cleverness that provide all noise and no useful classification.

This is an interesting thing to consider: true rarity/underuse or just over-specialization? For example, I am the only person to have tagged a post with the name of my high school. Locally it's pretty prominent, but in an admittedly second- or third-tier market (the Twin Cities).

TBH I expected better tags on this post.
