This Halloween, if you could decorate your home or office as any movie or T.V. set, what would it be?

Happy Halloween mefi!

Also, I can't imagine trying to work in a simulacrum of Quark's bar without something either really bad, or really good for business happening. It's already creepy that every time Nog reflects on his parenting, I am reminded that I was taught a lot of the same lessons as a kid.

My office would be the Klingon courtroom from Star Trek VI, and I'd draft a coworker to shout, "DON'T WAIT FOR THE TRANSLATION, ANSWER ME NOW" at anyone who walked in.

I spent a lot of time wondering about the universal translators used in Star Trek, trying to retcon an excuse for the movement of the characters' mouths to be matching their translation into English, like why did it look like they were speaking English when they were actually speaking e.g. Klingon, and thought like maybe the translators has a little ocular-field-generator or something that in addition to translating also adjusted mouth movements to match because otherwise hearing the translation simultaneously to seeing other peoples' mouths move in ways that shouldn't produce those sounds would be super disorienting, and then I realized that I had personally watched dubbed movies and it wasn't that disorienting and probably they'd all get used to it, plus if the universal translators worked like that wouldn't they have mentioned it at some point?

Unrelatedly, I wasn't super popular in junior high.
