Where'd crunchland go? You thing he'd list his own sockpuppet, if he's posting under a new name.

Well, he was using his real name for a while but apparently that's kaput as well. Wherever you are, Dave Faris, you are missed here.

Yeah, Eideteker's profile used to be full of wizards riding motorcycles jumping over chasms of flame while fighting half-robot gorillas who were armed with machetes and AK-47s. The wizard was yelling as he blasted one with his magic wand, killing another gorilla's tiger mount with the laser blaster in his off hand.
When you viewed the profile, a badass guitar riff would start to play and a scantily clad barbarian of your preferred gender would kick down your door and demand to introduce you to the ways of savage love.
So yea, y'all missed a good one.

HOW did I miss that epic comic sans thread? I don't know why the simple act of changing a font can fill one with such delight, but color me tickled. I wish I could share it with my IRL friends, or post it on Facebook, but I know those who reside outside of the fold would think something is wrong with me.

The best part of the comic sans thread was the switchover, when suddenly, dozens and dozens of comments in, Matt hacked the display font. You can get that from context, of course, but (at the risk of invoking You Had To Be There) it was just such a great swerve in the context of the developing thread.

And me. It was he that brought me in through the back door. So to speak. 'twas love ever after, til the bastard just up and vanished on me like all the boys in my life do when they tire of my incessant run-on sentences that just meander about talking about really nothing at all and yeah he had a sockpuppet for awhile, I remember now, but then that one walked away too the fucker and I never really knew what to put on my profile it's pretty much said the same thing for six or seven years now but yeah I miss that evanizer fucker.
