I love New York in January, how about you?

So, I'll be in New York next week for ten days or so ...

... and I'm thinking about a meetup. I'm looking at Friday 16th January, starting at Revival and finishing at Katz's, but I'm open to other suggestions.

I wish I could be there as I would very much love to give essexjan a hug. I haven't been to a meet-up in ages. There aren't many mefites in Mid-MO, and the ones that visit I already know.

I would like to do another Meetup and I am home during the time, but I am also taking a distance learning course on psych cognition, put me down as a maybe for now

Have we ever had a meetup at Failte? They have a neat upstairs with a fireplace and they have food. They sometimes rent it out for parties, so it's not always available. I'm just wondering if anyone has experience just showing up there with a group. It's not worth it if the upstairs isn't open, because there's no place to sit down downstairs.

Since I get out of work at 5:30, and am in serious corporate drag because I have a job interview today, I may run home first to change and show up at 8 or so. But, I will be there.

What a great turnout for such a cold night. It's amazing how far people will travel for an overpriced Greenwich Village cupcake. It was so good to catch up with old friends, and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to all the new people.
