Milwaukee, how does a meet up sound?
It's been a while since there's been a Milwaukee meet up (if there's ever been one). Let's do it! If we can pick a place that isn't smokey, I can assure you that at least two metafilter members will be there.

I'm not sure exactly when yet, and while I have a few ideas on where, I'm trying to work out something that isn't smokey so my wife (christinetheslp) can come. Though if smoke wasn't a problem, I was thinking a bowling alley would be great.

There is an Irish bar on the East side (which I am completely forgetting the name of) that is basically a converted house. It's really nice, and I'm pretty sure that there is a room that is set aside to be smoke free. (It's right around here.)

Sounds right. I haven't been there in a year or two, but it's only about 10 minutes from where I work.

Paddy's is awesome, check out the ceiling on the top floor entirely covered in halved wooden barrels.

Either work for me, but a Saturday meetup would be more likely to bring my mefite wife out to play.
