Why is there a 'My Comments' tab on the blue?

If you click 'My Profile' and any link in 'Contributions', you can navigate to your comment (from the timestamp) anyway, why have a tab at all?

Well, it's not exactly the same thing, is it? The "My Comments" tab is a filter for the front page, narrowed down to only the posts you've commented on. Clicking on your comment contributions via My Profile gives you only the thread titles and your comments (out of context). Anyway, just because you don't use it don't mean nobody ain't.

It's an old feature from years ago that a few users wanted to stick around. Personally I use it about once a year to test it out and make sure it kinda sorta works.

I think the Recent Activity page does a better job at the same thing though.

Along the same lines, I'd still love to have the "My Comments" tab in AskMeFi just like in the blue. Would Make it easier to follows threads I've commented.

loquacious's snark aside, I'd prefer the "My Comments" tab on the grey/green because it wouldn't require navigating to pages beyond the front page to see my activity. It's the Internet, yo, and I want results NOW NOW NOW.

Sadly, they don't let defendants eat with the jury, so no. But if they ever do, I'm totally recommending the Fugu.
