Ah, liquor-filled tarts. Many of my happiest memories involve these.

Sorry I missed this -- I had an out-of-town friend staying at my place for the entire long weekend, and I was busy being her host and Bay Area tour guide. Maybe having done so on my end will bring me good karma as a guest in NYC next week!
