Denver Meetup Redux

DENVER (and Boulder) Metafilter MeFites will once again be gathering to drink libations and act smart. We could really use some help.

That was so much fun last time that we had a meetup that we simply must get together again soon.
I propose one of the following Saturday nights: June 30th, July 7th, or July 14th. I also suggest that we keep the location downtown (and accessible by RTD) since that seems to keep the streets of our fair cities much safer. Post here (or shoot me an email metafieldtrip at gmail dot com) and let me know whether any of these dates work for you. Also watch the sidebar meetup calendar thing for when we settle on a date. Cheers!

Fourstar and Salsamander: Are you saying that you can only make the 30th? I'm keeping score here it might come down to the wire:)

Salsamander: Last time we met at the Falling Rock Taphouse in LoDo. I was skeptical but it turned out to be a great location--comfy chairs and couch and something like a bazillion different beers. We certainly could try somewhere else but it was very convenient for the half of us who came in by RTD so if we could keep the location down there somewhere?

I'd like to try and make it. But I can't on the 30th -- I'll be in California. I'm not sure on the 7th; I might be back from Cali. On the 14th I could make it.

I should be able to make any of those dates. I just made it through the pics from last time and I agree that Falling Rock looks like a great place (I haven't been there myself).

And, it just so happens that is the day that works best for the most of us. I'm very sorry teece.

That's a fair point craven. I drank 5 (ok 1) pints on my own before I found the MeFi group last time. And subsequently became a drunken mess prematurely -- clearly not my fault.

You do have the advantage of photos from the last meetup -- you can study and commit Mefites' faces to memory. If I remember... I shall bring a wee sign to place on the table(s).

i gave the photos a go, hopefully I did ok. I think I scored at least 60%. After an experiment, I'm not sure what is worse: waves of oppressively indistinct BASS before a hangover, or walking behind a lawnmower after/during one.
