This sort of post sets a terrible president in MetaTalk. If you have something nice to say about someone, keep it to your fucking self.

okay. fuck you and learn to spell, you smug idiotic jackass. is that better?
i was almost inclined to agree with your first sentence until i read your second one. isn't this the opposite of what we learned in "don't be a shithead 101" way back in preschool?
while i don't think every personal favor warrants a callout, i do think your attitude sucks.

...and, let's just leave it at that. This is a pretty lame excuse for a thread at a part of the site that could always use less noise.
But bravo, Mitheral, for doing a nice thing.

I just went through that entire thread and not only is there no answer to the mashed potatoes question, I'm pretty sure a whole shitload of my brain cells died while reading it. bleh.

Over the last six years, I think the MeFi family of sites has set the terrible president already. And I think they'll continue for at least another two.

Don't I get some sort of thanks for posting the thread that prompted your question which resulted in Mitheral offering to make and mail you a Simpsons map? If not, I feel kind of cheated.
I kid, of course. And I think what Mitheral did is cool. If only more people would do nice things for people without being asked or (I suspect) asking for anything else in return, this world would be a lot less fucked up.

I'd like to point out that my willingness to watch and subsequently praise early episodes of the Simpsons had a critical, if only incremental, effect on the continued production of the show and hence the further development of the town's geography.
Without me, there would be no map.

Back in the 70s, I personally loaned Matt Groening the money to go into rehab and kick his LSD habit. Where's my fucking thanks?

I'm pretty sure the Simpsons would have been even better if Groening had stayed on LSD. So thanks for nothing, jerk.
