I'm asking for your input on the future of the MeFiSwap.

Survey redux... the virtual idea was overwhelmingly shot down, so once again I'm asking for your input on the future of the MeFiSwap. This will be the last survey, from here we'll move forward to start the next swap on May 1, in whichever format is most preferred, so if you have any inclination toward swap participation whatsoever, please weigh in on this one. (And let's hope this stays on the front page of the grey long enough for everyone to know about this. Spread the word.)

I wish I could have put "maybe" or "probably" for some of the Yes/No questions. But then you might get 95% maybes.

I'm with Plutor. I've never done a swap before, but would be intersted in trying it. On moderated v. unmoderated - it seems like it's a question of effort; unmoderated is certainly easier, and I don't feel qualified to say if the effort for moderated is worth it.

So yeah, I'd prolly be up for doing the swap (depending on timing) but didn't want to take an uninformed stand on the other issues in the survey.

I'm in. I'd forgotten about the mefi swap, then the other day I was looking on Last FM and noticed a track by a friend of mine had popped in my listener charts. The track was never released, so I got curious as to whether anyone else had it (seeing as there are loads of people now using the service). I clicked the entry and...

...lo and behold, I see a user with the track. I sent a PM asking where they got the track.

Turns out they got it from me, because I put it on a CD I sent out in the swap 2 years ago....

....which made me feel warm and fuzzy for a bit.
