In previous election debates, we have occasionally had a thread where live-blogging the event happened. Those threads are often entertaining and informative, but I'm not sure it's something the mods want on the front page. In anticipation of tonight's debate, and the likely liveblogging thereupon, would it be better to create a metatalk or other off-blue thread for said event?

How shameless can one be on MetaFilter Projects? I've read the documentation, and guidelines. I've looked through posts. Being that I am so good at running afoul of MetaRules, can I be completely shameless about my company on there? We're part of an incubator programme and I'd like to give another team some love too. I object to this deletion since the double was Welsh and calling an Asda, not Belfast Irish calling what presumably is not an Asda. It would be ideal to post both in one thread as a compilation of pizza complaints but each is enjoyable to hear in its own way.

Re AskMefi: Can I mark a question as a favorite only on the main page, and not on the question page? Sometimes I don't know it's a favorite until I read some answers. But it appears I need to go back to the question list to make it a fave. Thx!
