London meetup reminder!

This Saturday (23 June) from 6pm onwards at The Porterhouse, Covent Garden, 21-22 Maiden Lane, London WC2 E7NA.

The Porterhouse on a Friday night? Fond of crowds, are we? (Not trying to be snarky, but any place in Covent Garden is going to be SRO on a Friday. Also, it's very loud there.)

I know I sound like an old man (largely because I am). But having been to a Meetup or two in my time, I've found that the success of the event largely depends on the participant's ability to comfortably converse with one another.

I agree with you, Optamystic, I don't think it's that bad on a Sat without the after-work crowd, and there's quite a few floors etc. We shall see.
