Montreal meetup July 2005

Last Minnit Me-Fi for MONTREAL !!! Friday night the 22 at 7pm at Copacabana Bar on St Laurent. (Else's on Roy St is nicer but smaller and might be packed at seven). I am from Vancouver and visiting and would like to meet some other Metafilterers. if no one shows that's cool, I will bring a copy of the Great Gatsby and let it wash over me drinking gin martinis. I visited Montreal last weekend, but am there no longer. Shame. Copa's changed. It's become much more of a coke-den than it used to be.

I miss the Copa. If I were still there I would attend, but I'm not.

There is nothing like the Copa in Ottawa. (Ottawa residents: Do not suggest the Dom.)

Ah, I wish - I do need to get to Montreal very soonishly so I can visit my grandmother, and I'm only in Ottawa, but tomorrow's no good (leaving aside that we don't have a car right now.)
