This Thursday (23rd June), whatnotever's in town, and Len and I are going to meet him for dinner and drinks. Anyone else around then fancy it? Jack? Sgt?

Aren't Black Mountain playing that night too? We might have to gulp that dinner...

And I wonder if there are many more Glasgow MeFites post membership opening? play ethic doesn't seem to play here anymore, and he was the only other Glaswegian I was aware of...

I could come through from Edinburgh, although there's no way I could arrive before about 7... Despite my Canadian roots I'm not a big fan of Black Mountain (or of Jamie Lidell) -- what time are the gigs?

Marquis - I think both gigs are relatively late on. Doors for Jamie Lidell are at 10, so we wouldn't need to get there until 11ish. Dunno about Black Mountain as they swopped venues from Nice 'n' Sleazy to the ABC at the last minute. I'm not really fussed about Jamie Lidell either - think he'll be doing singy folky business instead of wiggy electronics.

(Also, Len and bonaldi - just realised this means we'll have to miss the massive pig roasting on a spit/huge supply of free booze at the List's summer party. Bums.)

ok, i'll try to come! (i realise that is MeFi MeetUp code for 'i'm not gonna be there') but I really mean it. get off work at 5, will bust it to the bus station, and should be on Sauchiehall at 7ish? rad.
