Bugs in Music

Questions/comments about MetaFilter Music. I can't download anything...are the files being moved? Do people still send MP3s for it? Does anyone still use it? It looks so neglected...

Also, starkeffect's page has some errors on it.

I can't help you but this is an opportune moment to say that Stark Effect's "Think of Me" is still on my playlists and is enjoyed highly by many people I have shared it with. A great tune.

I'd love to continue to use it - I'd love if there was an upload interface, and if the mp3s people uploaded appeared, with a description, weblog style.

I agree with both of you. Let me add that starkeffect's Bunnyrabbits, Satan, Cheese and Milk is an all-time favorite, as is Eeples and Beeneenees, which you can get here. I also am nuts for The Taper, by adrober. There's some really good stuff there.

I see that Matt's uploaded the Beatallica library - I think that Beatallica was asked to take down their site and their music, but I can't remember by whom... Metallica, maybe? The Beatallica page has errors on it as well.

It would be nice if that part of the site was up again ...maybe matt can delegate it to someone ? I was lookin forward to putting lots of things on that part of the site ...
