So, uh, none of you Madisonian Mefites wrote to me to let me know your preference for where we meet, so I made an executive decision to go with Jolly Bob's, which rocketman endorses and whose fruity drinks tulseluper loves. If you'd like to meet somewhere else instead, this would be the place to figure it out.

tulseluper and I will be at the (free!) Cinematheque screening of Shirley Clarke's The Connection, which should end just before 10pm, at which time we will hightail it to Jolly Bob's. If any of you would also like to join us at the movie beforehand, that'd be swell. (He's the guy who runs the show; I'm the dork who sits in back.)

rocketman has suggested that we all wear Hawaiian shirts so we can recognize one another, but this may only help us blend in at Jolly Bob's. However, I have a new Hawaiian shirt that I'm itching to wear, so I say we go for it, and try to find a spot in the back room.

Whaddya say, gang?

Dammit! I'll be in Madison that morning, but have to be back in Milwaukee by the evening. Well, foo.

Next time, guys. And one of these days we'll actually get around to that Milwaukee meetup that was supposed to happen this past fall. (What can I say? I'm a slacker. I forgot to plan it.)

I will be there in the tackiest Hawaiian shirt ever. Seriously.

Though I really want to go to the screening, I'll take one for the team and show up ~8:45 to reserve some seating.

Also, I may have bronchitis, which would negate all this.

P.S., aine42, a few of us may go check out Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings at Onopa Brewing Co. on Feb. 17. That might suffice for a Milwaukee MeFi event.

I actually wrote you, Dr Wu, but gmail may have filtered my email -- are you sure you didn't want those penis enlargement herbal supplements?

I hope to be there, unfortunately sans loud shirt. I'd actually have to purchase said shirt to comply, and that just ain't gonna happen.
