Counts in profile not right? December 20, 2004 8:36 PM Subscribe
My user page is borked. I've answered way more than zero things in ask.me. I've posted more than zero responses in the blue. I'm pretty sure I can't post in the blue, either, though this may not be a problem anymore - I just haven't had anything blueworthy recently. My account is pretty old, and it was stagnant for a while. Does that explain things?
tomierna, I don't know how this happened, but you have two accounts with the same name - 783 and 784. Posts are showing up under 783, and comments are showing up under 784. Bizarro.

whoa, this is probably from long ago, back when I had a bug that let you register two names the same. I'll put them both on the same account.

This is an outrage.

I am having a problem that's maybe similar? I've got an older account but I wasn't online for a long time and now I'm back on here regularly. I can post comments fine, but I can't seem to update my user profile. And I'm not pregnant anymore, seeing as how my kid is almost 2.

783 & 784
Well, that explains it.
Bugs like this are always fun because you end up getting data referential to both IDs depending on how the query plan optimizer returns the keys.

I kinda wish it hadn't because when I look at how dumb my post looks, I'm getting post-postum-regrettum.
