London meetup May 2004

So.. anyone gonna be in London this coming week (nights of May 11-13)? Cause, like, pints and metafilter make a good mix.

Whereabouts in London are you going to be/ any preferred areas for meeting up? (Personal preference only: the City and South Bank are best for me, but anywhere in Zone 1 is good really).

rich, you mean the Chamberlain on Minories, right?

Soho is in the West End and there are lots of good places to eat/pubs there. The best Tube stops are Leicester Square or Oxford Circus.

I'm not too far from you during the day. How familiar are you with London? If you like, we could meet up at the hotel and then proceed from our destination from there.

Did anyone have a particular place in mind?

I like Bar Soho but then I'm a superannuated clubhound. Dome is also a good place to meet. If the weather's nice I'll be playing frisbee in Hyde Park beforehand - anyone want to join?
