I feel like sharing medlar seeds would be more of a curse than a boon.

You've caught me in a year when I'm having to revise my gardening setup due to increasing lack of sun in my traditional spots. Ordinarily I would be interested in a seed swap, but this year I'm buying seedlings if anything.

I’ve already started a lot of my seeds but have a bunch left over. Some are a few years old so no idea if they will sprout. There’s some things like melon that I would never use a whole packet of. What do people in sewed swaps usually share—a few seeds? I suppose it depends on what it is (I.e., peas vs carrot seeds)?

Bunglegirl yes, usually people share few seeds from what they have.
