Happy New Year! I'm organizing this year Valentine Card Exchange that's all about celebrating friendship and having some fun!
This is a chance to share a little love with our wonderful community. I invite each and every one of you to come join in the fun.
You will be matched with a group of 5, 10 or upto 20 awesome meFites to send and receive valentine cards within your group. If you have any specific information that I need to know or specific number of cards you want to send, please mention that in the notes. If you don’t want to share your email( which is needed for signup in the google form) but still want to be part of this valentine exchange, just send me mail with information and I will send you the list.
Signup closes by midnight EST on Friday, January 12th and I’ll email you the addresses by Sunday January 14th. If you had signed up and didn’t receive email by Tuesday, January 16th please memail me.
If you see this thread at the end of this month and still want to join……..no worries, contact me with your information and I will get you a list of some names.
I will try my best to check this thread often. But, if you have questions, please message me for quick response.

Feel free to send any type of card —handmade, hand-painted, postcard, whatever you can……….no rules or restrictions ! It’s all about spreading some love in a casual, friendly way and brighten each other's day! 💕

Thank you for organizing, I'll be signing up. Doing the monthly card swap has been great for me when I can do it--not always, life, etc., but it is so so lovely to get an envelope or a postcard from someone else, someplace else. I've shared this with my partner, and they now like to send out holiday cards BEFORE the holiday [mostly] !
I like making valentine's cards the best, after Halloween, as hearts are easy to cut out and I now see every bit of textured and patterned paper as an opportunity. It's not actually helping with my obsession with art supplies, I don't seem to be using stuff up as much as adding to the pile, but what the hell. Share the glitter, I say.

...Why am I wishing there was a theme, like 'fish' or 'love in different religious texts' or 'foods always served in bowls' (I listed several to avoid accidentally suggesting a theme myself).

Thanks everyone who already signed up. For those of you, who just saw the thread or is still waiting to signup, I'll keep the google form available till Sunday Jan 14th. I will be sending out the list to your emails mentioned in the form by Monday Jan 15th. I'll post it here when all the emails are out.

Thank you! Were there no people in Europe or did I fail to tick "send to people in Europe if there are any"? Happy to keep the people I have, just wondered.
(Said to friend, I am sending 5 Valentine's cards to MetaFilter users. Friend: do any of them have cats? Me, after searching: They are all cat-adjacent at the very least.)

Thanks for reply and email, SunPower - that's fine, I knew I would need to send to other countries if there weren't enough in Europe, just a bit surprised. And thanks for organising it.
