Premier League football (US: soccer) kicks off today at 1500 BST and with it the weekly crisis of self-worth that is Fantasy Premier League. Rad. I had my best season ever last year, hoping to kick on. Also hoping my son loses interest again around New Year's, as it's the only way I'll beat him.

It actually kicked off at 8pm last night, with a magnificent Liverpool win. We were top of the league right up till city battered West Ham this afternoon.

Oof. Thanks for doing this - summer has flown by and I've been on vacation in the distant parts of the UK without signal so could not do my annual ritual.
I didn't remember I forgot until I was in a pub in Wales watching Alisson pull up on his injured leg and thought, "Oof. Glad he's not on my fanta-OH CRAP I FORGOT"
