It must be said, though, that while he did hold it for a bit longer than most circles would like, Matt, in the end, didn't bogart this joint--he passed it over to Josh.

I enjoyed that quite a bit. And I think the two key observations, that technology would influence commercialization because of its ability to set portions, and that older people are a primary market in states that have legalized, are right on the money.
Dude, I'm DMing you next time I'm in Portland to see if you've got 8 hours to spare.

I guess I missed the post title because when I read I stumbled across this podcast on Stoner, I immediately thought of Stoner, and I was momentarily disappointed when I read the rest of the sentence. (If you've read the book you'll understand.)

Matt Haughey never touched weed as a teen, despite being a competitive BMX rider in Southern California

Well, he doesn't really live in Portland, and anyway I wasn't gonna be any help either in Portland proper because I never really had weed friends either. That said, it does seem like finding some way to ask people, maybe anonymously, is a service some websites provide.

(In other Portland-and-weed news, the very localest of our many weed shops had a couple guys out front waving around badly-made unreadable weed advertising signs today and I couldn't decide whether it was a very badly implemented advertising plan or a very well implemented bit of satirical performance art.)

Oh, for the love of everything sticky and purple... how the hell did this even happen? I don't think I've ever not ended up baked at any meetup I've been to. (Pssst go outside with the smokers occasionally. Safety meetings aren't usually verbally announced, as is tradition.)
