Oh hey, just saw this post. I added the "MusicOnly" tag and here's that transcript link for convenience (it's also linked to in the project's comments).

I actually only watched this without the sound on and thought briefly about deaf accessibility and I thought it held up, but it was late at night, and now I realize that I had the context of having already heard the jingles.

Oh, and if you can't see the video, it's three photos, timed to match when they're sung in the song:

- a photo of a single bell with handle,
- a photo of a rock, and
- a photo of some bells (like cat bells, but on a red ribbon if I recollect correctly)

I considered the jock, and decided I'd rather not explain what it was to my five-year-old right now. (Although her main reaction to the video was "boring" - she claims to like the song, though.)

And I didn't know what to use for "ringle" other than an animated question mark. The Pringle idea didn't occur to me.

Maybe the jock can show up in an un-rated director's cut sometime down the road.

I'd have been tempted by this. (It's about as close as "Pringle" is...)

...though, wait, apparently it's a thing! Merriam-Webster's Unabridged:

ringle, plural -s

1 dialectal, England: a metal ring; especially: one placed in an animal's nose

2 obsolete: circle

So I guess something like this.

The floor and walls between my apartment and my upstairs neighbors' are fairly thin, and while I was playing the video while doing holiday cooking, my neighbor texted me and says, "Jingle Bell Rock?" and I replied, "Nope. Jingle Rock Bell," and linked the video.

She texted me back 'irl lollllll' (she's 22) so I think that means she enjoyed it.
