Where is star trek episode ii eggs October 21, 2016 9:06 PM Subscribe
Somewhere either on the blue or green someone linked to a YouTube video of a 6 year old playing with their star trek action figures. Spock is wearing an apron. Kirk goes on a mission to trade a hash brown for some eggs. Everyone is in a band. I quote it daily.
This is literally the only thing that matters to my whole family right now.

Oh, that was a good adventure.

I love that Worf stores his bat'leth in the magazine rack next to the fireplace.

I like how random romulan has been recast as Spock.

Thank you, Inkslinger. My partner and I were, admittedly, a bit stoned last night on a date in the garage and it was very. important. that we watched this. My partner was convinced I'd be able to find it via searching any of the very memorable quotes, but that failed. He honestly couldn't believe there was such a thing as a non-viral video.

CONTINUITY AND EDITING GOOFS
In scene 1 (the only scene), Troi says that she will take the "scrambled" egg—but she clearly picks up an enormous fried egg. In fact, Kirk does not seem to have any scrambled eggs available for trade at all!
There is no fire in the fireplace.

Wow, so if you know what planet the gigantic dates come from, then you'll know where to get the gigantic eggs and hash browns, too, right?

I think it only makes sense that Dr Crusher would play the violin like a cello.
Egg! What a day, da da da da da lay!
I'm just so glad that Troi, the most underrated of characters, saves the day.

No-Sword, it also inordinately bothered me that the egg was not in fact scrambled. I could get behind saving a hashbrown just to use it as some kind of flying vehicle!! but the miscategorization of the egg was too much.
What a nightmare!

Was it a Romulan? TNG-era Spock was dressed in Romulan regalia as he was working in secret to promote Romulan/Vulcan integration, so his action figure was too. Seeing as Kirk was played by some kind of ceramic bust it all makes sense.

Guys, we get it. The egg did not look scrambled. You gotta remember, though, that tng came out a while ago. The special effects aren't going to look as good to our modern eyes. They managed to do a pretty good job on the hashbrown, though. I found it to be pretty believable.
