Webcomic with a "lead ballon" of a story going into deep crevasse

There was a webcomic linked to on the blue (I think - maybe a FPP in the past month or so) that featured two guys talking about story/comic writing. The gist was that the one guy was telling the comic author that his stories were too dark, and that they should "lift people up" or something.

The comic author then shoots his "dark story cannon" over a deep Wile E Coyote type crevasse where it sinks and sinks...only to turn into a ballon with a handle grabbed by someone deep in the muck at the bottom of the canyon.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? Can't find it for the life of me.
