We Have Always Lived In The Castle. What rough beast comes slouching towards the English Premier League to be born? Is it the brash, prideful Zlatan? The wise All-Father Pep? Jose Light-Bringer? Moyes the Goblin King? Join in the annual Metafilter Fantasy Football League and cast your stones among the stars! Will the mere mortal Foxes birth a dynasty? Has Sunderland tasted enough of ash and dirt? Can the Hammers continue to climb Olympus? And what of Chelsea stirring in her Stygian pit? I saw a snake with no end devoured by a bird of flame last night, so this must be Liverpool's year.

Again this year there are two leagues - the Classic (445881-133257) and the Head to Head (445881-133269). Join one, join both, join us!

New players are welcome and you don't have to be as mad as I. Heck, you don't even need to know a lot about the Premier League. Both the madness and the knowledge will come hand in hand to you over time.

I'm in, and I'll be playing the role of Aston Villa in this league. I'm a new EPL fan (as of last year) that is still trying to keep track of the players on my chosen team, let alone the rest of the league.

Wish I'd had a beginner's guide like this one last year. This year my son and I will have separate teams, so I won't be dragging him down anymore.

When I was creating my team, I realized that I don't pay enough attention to defenders. I know so few of them compared to midfielders and forwards.

The Notorious FCHIP is in. At least I think I am. When I entered the code, it said I had already joined the league. Maybe it carried over from last year? Anyway, here's to another heartbreaking season for the Spurs!

oh I missed this. Probably will forget to update/fiddle with my lineup some point along the way, but for the time being I'm in. I've already have made the disastrous choice in not picking coutinho apparently.
