MetaFilter was mentioned twice on A Way With Words.

Grant talks about our talking about farts (someone was deep diving!), and then things get even more meta when the word meta is discussed.

Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't heard of this before and am now subscribed to the podcast. It's right up my alley.

The specific mentions: Love Puffs and Getting Meta with Meta. Lest you think you need to listen to the whole hour long show to hear Grant Barrett (aka Mo Nickels here) mention he's a Mefite.

Though it's a pretty good podcast and definitely worth a listen.

I like A Way with Words. I should listen to it more often.

Their podcast is also one of the few search results for "beanplating" outside of MetaFilter.

I love A Way With Words. I doesn't surprise me at all that Grant is a Mefite. I'm always amazed when someone calls in with an obscure saying. Grant, ever unflappable, will say something like, "Oh yes. That saying comes from Utah, of course. It dates back to the Tintic War in 1856 when..."
