Jokes, as far as the eye can see…

Please help me find a fantastic thread full of mefites' best jokes! That is unfortunately all I have to go on. I don't particularly remember the timeframe, and I assume the question was something like "Tell me your best joke," but my search is not turning up anything useful.

I really need to make a friend laugh today.

(Because of course the first time I think to myself "Hey, this is the perfect time to dig up that Metafilter/AskMe thread I favorited all those years ago," it turns out that I forgot to actually favorite the thread.)

One of the threads on MeFi that I always think of when thinking of joke threads is What's the funniest joke that doesn't involve making fun of anyone?.

Wow, that GQ thread from a decade ago shows how much the culture has changed around here. Several racist jokes there that I doubt would go unchallenged these days.

I was just telling a friend the other day about one of my favorite MeFi Community/Ask Me stories:
A guy found a document on his deceased father's computer, but all it contained were the punchlines of jokes - not the jokes themselves. MeFi to the rescue.

Storytelling jokes.

Intellectual jokes.
