Aw, thanks everybody. I stayed up past midnight last night playing/teaching poker at a buddy's date-adjacent birthday party, got up at five to drive Secretariat to a geology field trip rally point, watched The Thing From Another World (which is fucking terrible fwiw), gave up on a Nephalim Rift run in Diablo 3 literally two minutes in after being hopelessly mobbed by three different elite arcane-enchanted packs in the narrow foyer of the rift, took a nap, went to a German brewpub for lunch with mrzarquon and had some birthday beer and birthday pub food and birthday foodcart cheesey fries, had some birthday coffee to top it off, and now I'm gonna settle in and watch the 2011 The Thing prequel/remake thing which can't possibly be as bad as that old 1951 shitpile.
Later: birthday exchange bourbon from aforemention poker buddy, in exchange for the Makers I brought him.
