I just wanted to say thank you.

Through comments I've slowly revealed that I left home with my special needs son for a domestic violence shelter, then transitioned into a homeless campus for families and single moms.

I've gotten a fair share of comforting comments and emails checking in on me. Kind offers of holiday gifts, fostering my pets, links to helpful programs, and general "if you need anything."

Last night was my last night sleeping on campus. I'm moving into an apartment and I'm off welfare. :)

So thank you for all the kindess and support. Just knowing it was there if I needed helped ease my mind more than I can say. The community is amazing.

I am so proud of you.
