Seeking recent Alan Watts link: why work? April 14, 2013 4:03 PM Subscribe
Somewhere in the blue, green or gray, within the past several weeks, somebody's response contained a one-word link to an Alan Watts bit on Youtube.
It was either him speaking or somebody reading him, but clearly identified as Alan Watts. The visuals were just city scenes; people walking, daylight, traffic signals changing, elevator doors closing. (Nothing time-lapse as I recall but I may be wrong.) The theme was why keep working at a job you hate just 'cause it pays well, to support a lifestyle which requires the hefty paycheck from this stressful job?

Any chance it's this Music and Life one, as animated by the guys who make South Park?

Could it have been a different video of the "What if money was no object"? I remember a timelapse version that seems to have been taken down, if this is anything to go by.

Found it, What if money didn't matter, not on YouTube but Vimeo. Yes, with time-lapse.
