We're on to round two of the MeFites' Choice awards. Come on inside for winners and prizes!
Far and away the top fantastic-flag getter is Bunny Ultramod's post I'm Going Straight, an exceptionally thorough post about the BBC sitcom Porridge. Bunny will receive a PC/Mac game from Steam from adrianhon, an Internet Archive donation from LobsterMitten and ... something from taz.
We had a tie for runners-up, two mega posts. Please MeMail me and I will send you a non-denominational holiday card and perhaps some stickers.
Thanks to everyone for participating, keep voting for next week's winners and add prizes or special categories to the wiki if you'd like to.

One needs to have a wiki account to offer a prize, right?
You could have someone with a wiki account write the prize down for you (I'd be happy to, I'm sure other people would as well). Accounts on the wiki are free and available to everyone but I think we disallow non-logged in editing.

Woo!
Also a note on the wiki: enthusiastic sprucing up of the page is a nice instinct but it seems like we ended up with e.g. usernames munged significantly in the interest of fun/style which actually makes linking up a post like this with prize-givers a little more of a pain because we just need to get back to their actual username anyway. So improving the organization/readability of content is totally fine, but stuff like actual usernames should just be rendered properly as their explicit usernames, etc.

Minor thought. Could it be tweaked/reversed for the remainder so that prizes automatically go to different people in the same week, unless the prize giver says it's specifically for the winner? Otherwise, week four currently has just one winner getting four or five prizes, rather than six people getting one each.

Take it up with the prize-givers directly. I don't think it's appropriate of the mods to change the rules of the contest which is a user-driven contest without people's okay.

Question: I am thinking of giving a prize for the last week of the contest. Does that mean I'm out of the running for this week? Or is eligibility on a week-by-week basis?

The only thing that makes you out of the running is winning in an earlier week. While it might make for some awkward rejiggering if you win your own prize, people are eligible to win for any week.
I just changed my spouse status with Greg Nog, you jerk.
See what happens when you get a little famous?

In meds-addled mind state thought you meant something like this and was "wtf I do not get that", then realised. Then again, I don't understand Donkey Sauce, or the whole Flavortown thing, either. Being temperamentally British, any sauce other than HP or gravy is somewhat threatening.

I had no idea this existed until I got a memail asking for my address. I'm a lot less creeped out now that I know its because I won something.
Phrasing it like that makes it sound like I'm involved in some kind of One Millionth Customer email scam.
Congortulations, Mr FIRSTMATEKATE! We are much pleased to announce that you you have won a GRAND PRIZE in the amount of 1,000,000 dollars (USD). To received your amount please to enclose a processing fee in 25,000 dollar USd. Thanks You.

Blimey; nine prizes for the final week of December so far! And, unless someone does a single-link, single-word titled post about a woman who composed a great soundtrack to an old video game about cats, then there will be multiple prize winners.
Guessing that a few MeFi's will, at some point, quietly search the more obscure reaches of the net to see if such a game existed...

can't win my own prize
can't pat my own back
can't blow my own horn
can't fill my own sack
can't do much of anything, see, for myself
'cept rearrange knick knacks on my knick knack shelf
i once dreamed of glory
the praise of my friends
parades down the streets
those streets were dead ends
my dreams were all dashed
then scattered like dust
whatever's left now
will only just rust
so work on your projects
and yeah, do your best
to win adulation
and pass the big test
step into the spotlight
the critics will rave
a moment's bright glory
on your way to the grave

Here are my adjustments:
1. I cannot win my own prize, I'm on a diet.
2. My prize would ideally go to the best post about healthy eating and Asian food but if no such post emerges then RECIPES!

So, based on Bunny Ultramod's answers to my extensive survey, he has won A BUCKET OF COCKS*! Which, in this case, is represented by Jolene Collins' artisanal sriracha, featured in this Metafilter post.
"Cocks," because sriracha is sometimes called rooster sauce or cock sauce, from the logo of the best known brand.

Sir Griphus
I just liked how the vowels were the same! What's the word...? Assonant?
Also, I have this Greasemonkey script installed which, among other things changes my username to "Mom" which makes otherwise difficult threads tolerable but changed griphus' sentence to
"Please address all questions about my honorific to HRH Mom"
Which has now made me even happier than the stupid thing usually does. Anyone who wants a Greasemonkey name changer, his me up over MeMail when I'm back "on the job"

I genuinely cannot wait for the artisanal sriracha. I put sriracha on everything. I put it on my bed last night and slept in a sriracha cushion. I put it in my hair for an extra spicy spit curl. I put it on all my letters; it's what I use as a signature. I use it as toothpaste. I put it in my Neti pot. I went to the crossroads and called up the devil, and he asked me if I wanted to learn to play guitar better than anybody has ever played, and I said hell no, I just wanted you to try this amazing fucking sriracha, and then he and I honeymooned together in the Cayman Islands, enjoying the local cuisine with LOTS OF SRIRACHA ON EVERYTHING.
