You know, it kind of was. Thank you everyone for the well-wishes. I spent a little bit of time this morning at work but then spent the rest of it out and about. I had some cake with Fluff frosting, took a walk on the beach during the 20 minutes that it wasn't raining and got some good hang-out time with my fella and some phone time with my family. It was a good day, thank you.

It was like buttercream frosting with Fluff flavoring [but they were careful to say Fluff and not just "marshmallow"] and it was pretty solid stuff. Also the cake was HUGE, like tall. Very robust. We could not finish it. Also it cost almost as much as my chicken and biscuits but I am okay with that.

At 11, I asked my mother for a stale angel food cake with melted Kraft caramel icing. It was so sticky that it was almost impossible to cut even with a buttered cake knife, and no one else was willing to risk their teeth with more than a single bite, but I loved it.
