The worst part is I'm on my phone at the moment and was too lazy to peck out all the goddamned special characters to construct a proper link to the original thread like I'd normally do.

I have often thought this would be a nice pony to have. Unworkable, probably, and undesireable (in terms of site dynamics), but I want it anyway.

This is at least the 5th thread that's more or less "I wants to favorite cortex's deletion reasons" (1, 2, 3 and 4). I was kind of shocked at how old "favorites" are since the oldest one of those is from 2007.

I don't favorite deletion reasons to signal that I like or approve of them, I merely use them as bookmarks.

We definitely need a place on MetaFilter to go and revel in all the deletion reasons. They are mostly primo one-liners.

I particularly want this since Firefox messed up all my Greasemonkey scripts, including the deleted post one.

It's always going to be at least a skosh out of date, but you can page through deletion reasons over at the Infodumpster (or go straight to the source and page through the postdata files on the Infodump.
