Would someone be willing to print and sell more Metafilter shirts?

Matt would.

Gman is all over this Metatalk thing tonight - that's the current thread and status, yeah.

Yeah I'm working on this behind the scenes right now, hoping to have shirts ready for sale in a few weeks.

As long as we're asking for ponies wearing shirts. Can we get them with them with the

and
Move On
design someone suggested in the past?

bookman117: Hey, could we have another run of shirts printed out?

How bout an 'I dropped an I/P thread with the added bonus of free speech in the United States, on a Saturday evening, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt' t-shirt?

I don't think all that will fit on the size smalls.

Gman, if you need something to do, I can find you something.

How about the text "Metafilter: " written vertically up the front pointing towards the wearer's head, so everything that comes out of their mouth automatically is turned into a Mefi tagline.

I have this dream that someday I'll be in a market or something somewhere wearing a MeFi shirt and some cute guy will be like hey! I have one too! And he'll have his MeFi shirt on and it'll all be perfect and and we'll live happily ever after and post lots and lots of fun posts to the Blue and the Green and my nerdy love story dream will finally come true.

Just a thought. You know. Extra motivation for shirts, etc.

Please. :D

What are, usually, the sizes available?

Future pony: edit function for my t-shirt. I'm sure pb will be right on it.

These Birds of a Feather, I was kind of hoping the shirts would come with that exact warranty.

Haven't we already reached Peak Keep Calm And Move On? I don't think it would be possible for that meme to get any more played out.

It's not a bad idea, but I'd rather see us go for something a bit more original or current.

Matt, will you be able to ship shirts outside of the States? I can't remember if that was an option last round, but either way I missed out. :(

I'm holding out for the onesies.

Well, that onesie is going to haunt my dreams.

And I already dream about MeTa
posted by Mezentian at 3:32 AM on August 5, 2012 [1 favorite]

I'd buy one of those onesies.

And I'd like them better still if they came with a range of matching adult diapers that had the moderators faces on the front.

I only hope that they don't have "short" sleeves that go down to the elbow.

You people are too picky! I'll take two.

Yes, Metafilter ships abroad. It is totally worth the extra shipping cost.

*muses on which version to buy this time and needs a size larger*

All t-shirts are © their original wearers.

I definitely need a size larger. Will have to check which size I bought when they were $5 so I can be specific on my birthday wish list.

How about a shirt for each site?

The Blue – Front: Some obscure factoid. Back: Cute cat photo.
Ask MetaFilter: Front: "Ask me, I'm a Metafiltrean!" Back: "But only once a week..."
Projects: "Shirt" arrives as a ream of fabric, some thread, a needle, and some iron-on letters.
Music: Gray flannel. Photo of a 'Metafilter' fx pedal. Goes to 11.
Jobs: Doesn't matter. Nobody will buy it.
Podcast: When you order, the mod team draw straws, and the loser mails you the shirt that they're currently wearing.
MetaTalk: Gray shirt with the MetaFilter logo. About 80% of the shirts will be made out of the scratchiest fabric imaginable.

Big Big Question: You wear it twice, then forget about it in the back of your closet.
Fuelly: The shirt covers you best if you avoid sudden starts and stops and do most of your wearing on the highway.
