The front page CSS/HTMLl is broken?
Right now all the posts (except the top two posts) on the front page are being wrapped with a [small] tag, making all the front page posts a small(er) text size.
I've never seen this problem before today, and I've refreshed my cache to make sure it wasn't a glitch on my end (Firefox/Mac). Is anyone else seeing this?

Data point: Not seeing this in Firefox 8 on Linux Mint.
However, you're not the only person who seems to be having this problem.

Yep. (Firefox, Ubuntu). Starts with infini's post, and it wasn't like that a few minutes ago.

It doesn't show up in the chromium browser in Mint, either. (I'm running "15.0.874.106 (Developer Build 107270 Linux) Built on Ubuntu 11.10, running on LinuxMint 12")

Does it look okay now? Looked like Fizz put a small tag in the URL description field and didn't close it and our auto-tag-closer didn't catch it.

I really don't know what to say. Thank you, thank you. Saved me from an hour of deep virus checkers.

Man, I remember when this shit would happen all the time with bad html breaking entire threads or the whole front page, before Matt and pb had gotten some really solid tag matching logic in place to avoid renderfucking runaway tags and such. Now you really kind of have to make a special effort to pull it off.

so you're telling me I can bring the whole front page down with a single dangling tag? Which tag? Just so, you know, I don't accidentally do it.

This is MetaFilter. You can bring the whole site to a screeching halt with a single dangling participle.

Hell, I can derail Metafilter for two days by just considering for a moment the concept of declawing the darn cat.

Of course, you can win MetaFilter forever if you manage to darn a declawed cat.

Rather than declawing, consider getting Kitten Mittens™

I tried that, but they kept on losing them. Then I had to put up with all their yowling and whining because I withheld pie as punishment.
Better to just declaw from the start, imo.

Hah yeah I remember the days when any unclosed tag in a comment would just apply to all the comments after that followed.

Yes, but you've got a hanging colon. You should probably have that looked at.
