I was searching for a thread that I knew MiguelCardoso had posted. To find it I did a search on his name (Miguel). Turns out he is a master of disguise with no fewer than three registrations.... Tsk Tsk Miguel...(or imposters)...
Is there some way of cleaning things like this up, so some sign-up space can be created for new users?

(1) Several of those are plainly not Miguel.
(2) Matt has said that he will (has?) open sign-ups. There is no space problem.
(3) Is this really a shout-out to Miguel in disgusie?

His actual username doesn't even show up in that list, since, as I just discovered, the username search is case sensitive only if you use lower case; if you had used an upper case M you would have gotten his actual username in your return, plus all of the lower case Miguels. Just an interesting little tidbit ;)
I don't think Miguel would ever even dream of use a 1 in place of an L. Some of these are probably jokes (by other people), which never came to fruition, and Schweppes_Girl is his wife.

Is that Miguel in your pocket?
Or are you just happy to see me?

He is industrial, and that's what threw me. I checked a couple of posts and couldn't find any comments by him, so I had to do a user search.
Go figure.

My only account is MiguelCardoso. By all accounts, it's more than enough. My wife's, which uses the same e-mail account is Schweppes Girl. The others are not my doing.
As for you, Frasermoo, you're my Searcher Of The Month. How many of these silly moos are you? ;)

Did I hear Miguel say
He was leaving here today
To take us to his mansion in the sky?

*whistling furiously to redirect attention elsewhere*
Hey, did anybody see what Kottke just wrote about warblogs:
"So, what are the choices here? Either a) everyone with a weblog is a hawkish right-wing Westerner; b) only those webloggers who are hawkish right-wing Westerners can submit something for consideration; or c) I'm not getting a joke here. What seems like an opportunity to take a balanced, accurate snapshot of what people all across the Web were writing online at the time of the events of 9/11 has somehow turned into us vs them."
I agree. And I too like a Gershwin tune. And New York in June. What about you?

I have a confession to make, I built MIguelCardoso in my laboratory as a scientific experiment.
Impressive ain't he?
now get over here, Miguel so I can change your batteries.

I think I've figured it out. Neither Miguel or Evan exist. They are Photoshop constructs as I have previously postulated. I'm also having trouble believing in Frasermoo's existence.

...i thought miguel once posted he was catholic, then saw the zionist reference and wondered about....things. thing was, i was going to e-mail miguel a happy easter...thing is, i sent the message to another friend by mistake. (not knowing how to send e-mail properly) the religion does not matter, consistency does. If Miguel has a few old avatars, ehhh. long as he doesnt have alot. Jonmc, Kaf is the BOT builder, Dong-resin holds the patent. the 'warning' is teasing, i'm very fond of Miguel.

You are not logged in, either login or create an account to post comments
Also, I'd be willing to be that the other Miguels are imposters.
