I'm so in again. It's amazing how something this simple can help out so much.
My wife wants you to invent a way for everyone to be able to reach through the internet and slap me for losing life points though.

All I'm getting is "We're sorry, but something went wrong." from those links. I think it can tell that I'm not the sort of person that they'd want to have around.

Geez, I only just realized I've been really crap on the Team Points end of things - ocherdraco has a great write-up on the concept linked to in a previous MeTa if anyone else has had trouble grokking it.

Yay! I signed up again. Now that fall's here and my stress level is a little lower, I think I can get back on the wagon. It's definitely the nicest way I've ever seen to get healthier!

I have sponsorship chips, too, if anybody would like to stretch and do more than three goals - although I think mefi group also has sponsorship chips, too. No excuses for not being ambitious if you want to!

I like health, but it doesn't like me.

May I humbly asked to be sponsored again this month? I like having more rules, even though I've flaked on stretching. I'll start paying for myself in November. Thanks!

Health Month is helping me stick with learning how to knit, even though that isn't even one of my rules. :) Go MeFits!

I did Health Month for the first time in September, having not really understood the concept from previous posts. I found it very useful in thinking about what behaviours one might want to make habitual - and was particularly surprised that it covers anything you might want to think of as a healthy behaviour, so if, for instance, you want to do some writing each day you can choose the "do meaningful work" option (or the "private journal" rule if that's more what you want to do). You can also make up custom rules (and set them as private if you like).
I also found the public nature of it helpful. Some of my rules I've struggled with on and of for years and somehow it made it easier to do it if I knew I had the option to post my progress to the team wall so others could see how I'd done and comment on it if they felt like it.
It is very easy, especially first time round, to crash and burn - run out of life points; but team members are generous in helping people to get out of negative equity by healing them, and this adds camaraderie. (Wch is not a word I thought I'd ever use in a positive sense, as like many MeFites I don't think of myself as naturally a team player.)
luckynerd, I have a sponsorship chip and will try to assign it to you (not quite sure how to do so, but will investigate).

I have LOADS of sponsorship chips left from Mathowie - like, more than 50. But the team always seems to get to the new requests before I do! At this rate, we'll be using them for the next year. :)

I finally signed up for an account and created a few rules! All things I should really do for their own sake, but that I need a little bit of motivation for. If anyone wants to sponsor me, I would be very grateful and I promise to pay my own way next month!

Ugh, I am a total flake when it comes to Health Month - I've failed twice already. But maybe third time's the charm!
What's this sponsorship thing? I didn't need one last time, is it new?

You only need it if you want to have more than 3 rules. If you do, just set up your rules and, at the end, click the "request sponsorship" link one of us will help you out. :)

You are all awesome! Let me know if I can do anything to make the game more fun/useful for your team. I regularly use the Metafilter team as one of the examples of the way Health Month can be used to its greatest potential. Rock on!

Okay Buster, I just noticed your profile. Sure, creating something as useful as Health Month is impressive. But what's even more so is remembering your MeFi account name after 6 years' absence. Kudos :)
