Rossi-Focardi cold fusion update March 10, 2011 5:41 PM Subscribe
Followup to a recent post on Rossi and Focardi's cold fusion claims (aka "energy catalyzer").
Here is an update. Rossi will chat live tomorrow about his invention, sponsored by Sweden's Ny Teknik. According to Rossi, the University of Bologna is set to announce a one-year program to study the phenomenon, perhaps related to a February 10th closed demonstration where the device ran successfully for 18 hours. Apparently, nobody claims to know how this thing happens, except that it was a serendipitous discovery and is theorized to involve hydrinos. A secret catalyst may be required, and a patent has not been issued. Focardi has been experimenting since 1995.

Any reason not to make a new post about this?
I just thought updates were gray matter.

I got in trouble for this once, too, by the way, which is why I can be glib.

Either a moderator will close it, or someone will start with the pie recipes.
Mine is for mud pie; get a pre-made chocolate cookie crumb pie crust and a pint of coffee-flavored ice cream. Wait for the latter to partially melt before using it to fill the former (use a spatula to flatten it). Top with chocolate sauce (if you use a generic bottled "hot fudge sauce," you want it about a quarter of an inch thick). Put it in the freezer for at least a couple of hours before serving.

Possibly both.
