MetaFilter parodies December 30, 2010 11:50 AM Subscribe
Is the Spoonfed MetaMetaFilter parody online? The "rescued" link to kineticmuse at mssv.net no longer works. I'd also love to see other parodies.
Fruitless rant about an only marginally related topic, eventually devolving into a series of increasingly sexually frustrated comments that are roundly chastised, and then deleted by Jessamyn.

Archive.org has a copy of the rescued thread from kineticmuse at archive.org. You were looking at the old archived metafilter wiki. The current metafilter wiki's version of the More Resources page now also includes the archive.org version of the kineticmuse link.

Non sequitur comment invoking an absurd allegiance to a pagan god, and my desire to use some sort of mad science to perform a horrific crime against the world, because said god instructed me to. Through a talking house pet.
A suggestion that this course of action should be the obvious and only logical choice, given the alternatives (of which "not doing it" is never mentioned")
Also: Followed up with an "also:" which is equally random and mostly off topic.

Heartfelt plea that we don't do these anymore since even the first one was pretty much painful and humorless, and everything since is like those guys who quote the same Monty Python jokes over and over and over for their entire lives.
No, really, heartfelt plea.

Comment that tries to appear participatory and not interrupt the flow but in reality wants to link to a thread on Reddit where users are doing a neat take on this, then wanders off to wonder if this comment should really be posted in this thread at all, and then spends more time thinking about this than was spent on composing the actual post itself goddammit.

Assertion that the situation is more complicated than it appears and that people of reasonable good faith may disagree on the way to deal with it. Restatement that people still need to be mindful of other people and vague allusion to the fact that I may have been having a very bad day.
