London and champers shall we drink?

Tell me London, what do you really think about afternoon champers in January?

We were talking about a January meetup, so how about Camden Town in the daylight on the 30th?

I submitted my dissertation last Tuesday and am currently on a bender I'm hoping will last as long as possible so buying you a glass or two of cava or champers or prosecco or sangria while you eat or not eat as you see fit would suit me fine.

Mrs Mutant is inviting some friends from University as well, so a mix of MeFites, business school sorts, art students and whomever else might be interested in tagging along to a Spanish restaurant on a Saturday afternoon in Camden Town would be grand.

We were thinking perhaps a 2PM launch for drinks and tapas at Bar Gansa just across from Camden Town Tube.

Afterwards we could wander through the stables, heading over to Proud Gallery; they have decent mix of art and live music most weekends, generally starting middayish and free entry to boot, so how about it?

It is a marvelous idea, but I will unfortunately be out of town. I look forward to the photos!

Yah, I'm in. I've been terrible at attending meetups lately, for which I apologise. Later that evening I have to go to a reception for the recently appointed Storyteller Laureate (god, I love England. We have a Storyteller Laureate) but I would love to help you celebrate in the arvo.

Dammit, another meetup I don't think I'll be able to make. My meetup attendance rate has been terrible of late. Must do better.

Wow, London and Cava and Tapas and celerating a dissertation submission, if there is a more attractive combo, I've yet to hear it. Will try really hard, got a clinic to run until about 12, so if I rush I might make it by about half-past. I too have been dreadful about making meet ups these days...
