I'll be in Asheville, NC from 11-7 to 11-11 and Charleston, SC from 11-15 to 11-19.

I'll be at Stewriffic's party too, but I'd like to also get together with those who won 't be able to make that.

We haven't had an Asheville meetup for a while; let's do another one. I vote for Saturday 11/7, somewhere downtown. Thoughts?

I'm new enough around mefi that I'd feel a bit the intruder including myself in anything. But, brujita, if you want to know where to go hiking around here, let me know.
By the way, do any of you locals know what the new (at least, I think it's new)place is on the corner of Haywood and Sandhill in W. Asheville?

I'd love to attend an Asheville meetup- I'm just over the mountains in TN and I love any excuse to get over there. It'd be my first meetup too!

Lazaruslong, thanks for the offer but I'll be staying at a place on Tunnel Rd. I think mid-evening 11-7 will work; I'm coming in from Charlotte that day and will have seen something there (haven't decided yet).

I'm prone to bronchitis---and the flu hit me hard last summer---so I would prefer someplace with a nonsmoking section when we go downtown (I know, heresy in a tobacco state! ;-) )

My pictures are up - the batteries were REALLY dying, only got three, damn. It was a great party; thank you so much, lazaruslong! Really a fun time for all.
