Las Vegas MeFites - impromptu meetup with vacationers?

I'll be in town tomorrow through Monday (along with fellow MeFite pointystick for annual escape-Atlanta-humidity trip). We're staying at Mandalay, but have a car and are reasonably familiar with driving in the greater LV area. The only no-go is Wednesday night unless you're also going to the Las Vegas Tweetup at the Hilton.

Would love to meet y'all, if there's a chance.

i was all excited for a LV meetup and then realized i'll miss you by less than a week. (i'll be in LV from 7/30 thru 8/3.)

I just moved here so I'd love to go to a meet-up and you know, meet some people. Let me know if/when/where....

How does Sunday afternoon sound? 4-ish maybe? There's a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at Town Square, if people don't mind coming perilously close to the Strip - that's a decent fallback if nobody has a favorite local place to offer up.

Doesn't look like anyone can make it - sorry for the short notice! We'll both likely be back in town this autumn sometime and will give it another whirl then.
