Favorite Navigation April 29, 2009 9:56 AM   Subscribe

These two pages have pagination at the bottom. These three pages do not. Can we have the same ability to navigate into the past of "favorited by others" as we do for "favorites from," or would that be a huge pain in the ass?

Please note that I am requesting this feature for stalking purposes rather than for navelgazing. It would especially be nice to go to, say, Astro Zombie's most popular comments and posts and see more than the first 20 or so.

You can navigate into the past now with the "Older" and "Newer" links at the bottom. But yeah, we can add paging to those so it's easier to jump to the beginning. Typically there are less favorites than posts or comments, so it didn't seem as urgent for those.

On non-preview: true, the popular view of favorites doesn't have "Older" and "Newer" links, but the other two views do. We'll get paging added to all three views.

"Pagination" is a pretty weird word when you think about it.

It's as if Camille Paglia seceded, isn't it?

You're right, cortex. In keeping with my tradition in such cases, I will begin using analogues of 'pagination' in my everyday speech forthwith:

Adding pages to something: pagination
Giving wages to someone: wagination
Adding sage to a particular recipe: sagination
Adding rage to a particular activity: ragination
Adding a mage to your party: magination

I thought it was the name of Mark Foley's secret hideaway.

It's not so bad, actually, it could have been the sea lions of the Apocalypse.

Once again, it's pb to the rescue! We really need to get you a mask and a cape, dude. Thanks!

If pb's still in the midst of working on this, then forgive me for jumping the gun, but there's still no pagination on the most popular comments view (the precise and fuzzy views are covered now, tho). Also, the paging arrows points in different directions on those last two, which is a little odd.

I just flipped the switch for paging on all of those pages, so let me know if you run into problems.
