Find me a thread?

Can you help me find a thread that I am pretty sure existed? It was by DaShiv, about his photos.

I seem to remember that there was a tutorial put together by DaShiv explaining how he takes those amazing portraits. Or maybe not a tutorial so much as a brief explanation--I'm not sure if it was its own thread or a comment in a thread. Either way, I'd love to take a look at it again. Sorry for the lack of specificity and detail--it's kinda blurry. I've done a lot of searching on MeFi and Google and am not turning anything up. Either I'm inventing that this ever existed or my searching capabilities are for the birds. Any help? Thank you.

He's talked about photography on more than one occasion, but the one I always think of is this breakdown in the 8th Anniversary thread.

I seem to remember something more explain-y, with some fairly specific technical recommendations about settings, lighting, etc. I am totally inventing that this existed? (But thank you for the above; that is great and useful, too).

My secret search technique: going to his profile page and searching on a couple of photography-nerd keywords. Got a couple misses on bokeh, then went back for "aperture".

He was at the LA meetup (which I had to leave early and so I did not get my portrait done).

Yeah, he was taking pictures at the recent Kogi meet-up. Which he ought to post. I saw him take one of me and then laugh, but I'm sure it was a "he's damn handsome" laugh.
