"Favorited x times" page title bug

When you click on a "favorited X times" link, you are taken to a page with the title "All users marked nnnnn as favorite" (example). Should it not say "All users who marked nnnnnn as a favorite"? (The in-page text heading is "X users marked this as a favorite:", FWIW)

It's always sounded strange to me too, so it's nice that someone else feels that way too. Actually, maybe it should just say "x users feel that way too"

I would describe this as a grammatical oddity, not a bug.

I would also describe it as 'something better dealt with by an email to Matt or PB' than 'something requiring a MeTa post'.

Eh, you say grammatical oddity, I say bug. Doesn't really seem worth arguing about the definition of the word. Either way, if Matt/PB/any other admin wants to delete this post for excessive pedantry, that's fine by me.

You're reading it wrong: it means what it says, everyone marked it as a favorite.

But seriously, yeah, it doesn't make any sense to me and it kind of bugs me too. Not too much, though. Just a bit. At my more irritable moments.

Attention! The white zone is for all users marked nnnnn as favorite only. The red zone is for all users focused the username field on the login page.

Seems like InterwebSpeak to me -- a phrase shortened to occupy less space but still retain its meaning. Kinda like MilSpeak (military shorthand). Very trendy.

At the lower right corner of the MeTa page there is a link "contact". You could have used that for this.

I think it should read 'all users marking xxxx as favorite', since it's changeable, and the in-page heading should be 'nnnn users are marking this as a favorite'.

I think it should say, 'All users by whom directory item NNNNN, in accordance with autonomously-defined conditions that are not necessarily inclusive of agreeance with or endorsement of any ideas presented in said item, was marked 'favorite'.'

You could do it "Obama is your new bicycle" style and have a bunch of random phrases:
-The following people think this is great.
-These users agree.
-"Great point!" say these MeFites.
-It's possible these users just use favorites as bookmarks.
-Your favoriters, let me show you them.

What's all this caution about using meta for stuff like this? Not like there's a lack of real estate. And in cases like this it might be good for sussing out whether other user feel the same way and the mods can get a feel for whether there is a plurality of users agreeing on a change.

I think that weapons-grade pandemonium has the correct syntax.
I also think this is fine for MeTa, because a little help from the community in getting bad wording corrected has seemed to have been useful in previous, similar situations.
Finally, if I ever checked any favorites-related pages, this would have bugged the shit out of me, so I think the post is justified for that reason as well.

See, that's why I haven't complained about this little typo, even though I noticed it; because, every time I look at one of my comments that's been favorited, I get that special, delusional glow during the five or six seconds in which I can convince myself that everyone on the whole of metafilter marked that comment as a favorite.

I think the special glow is reason enough to leave it.

We just updated this today. Now the page title says "Favorites on [comment/post] [ID]".
