Recent Activity on My Comments Pony Request: I live on this page, but would find it more useful if I could limit how far back it goes. For example, if there were an option to "don't show any comments over 12 hours old", etc. What say you?
I feel the same way, Eideteker, but couldn't you have made a new MeTa? Your request is unrelated to blue_beetle's, and I have to say I'd be pretty miffed if the first response to my feature request were a complete derail.

Oh. I thought this was the ponies line. I would really be happy with a small chicken, which I can raise as my own.

I'm afraid that the answer to all of these requests is "no". Sorry.

How are you supposed to remember context when a post pops up after the window passes?

blue_bettle, can't you just stop scrolling down the page and you won't see old stuff?

Eideteker, we went with cntrl-shift-t because years ago, it did nothing (there was no such thing as tabs at the time).
I seem to recall cntrl-shift-i (the obvious choice) did something wacky on IE/win like open your printers or something. Can you confirm if it does anything currently when you try that key combo?
Maybe we could change to that instead of what we have now.

A quick search shows it's the shortcut to open up the DOM Inspector in Firefox.
I'm not so sure it would be a problem, though. It was an optional component of Firefox 2, and is only available as an add-on in Firefox 3. And even then, I'm not sure that Ctrl-Shift-I will be the shortcut for that incarnation of it. (I don't have DOM Inspector installed so I can't verify).
I'm also assuming the OP's request was denied...
